The District Court of Dhangadhi has ordered to penalise Rs 3,000 each to Jaya Kumar Mahato,32 of Dhangadhi VDC-3, Pawan Kumar Mahato,25 of same VDC, Ranjit Mahato,25, Sunita Mahato,28, Jaleshwor Mahato,55 and Ram Narayan Mahato,40 on the charge of caste discrimination. A single bench of District Court judge Rajendra Adhikari has given a verdict on July 13 regarding the case. He also ordered to provide a compensation of Rs 30,000 to the victim. The accused had beaten Pramila Mallik,55 of Dhangadhi VDC-3 in 2015, August 5 on the charge of touching Well. The victim had lodged a complaint at Area Police Office on September 29. Durga Pariyar
