Police have arrested 43 years old Gyan Raj Rai of Nerpa-6 on September 22 on charge of raping a 35-year-old woman. The victim’s party had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on September 19 against the accused on charge of raping her on September 18. Police said that the accused was arrested based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s party according to Inspector Saroj Rai of DPO. The victim underwent a health checkup at District Hospital of Khotang on September 19. ३५ वर्षीया महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले नेर्पा-६ का ४३ वर्षीय ज्ञानराज राईलाई असोज ६ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले असोज २ गते बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा पीडित पक्षले असोज ३ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय दिक्तेलमा उजुरी दिएको थियो । उजुरीका आधारमा अनुसन्धानका लागि आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय खोटाङका इन्स्पेक्टर सरोज राईले जानकारी दिए । पीडित महिलाको स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण असोज ३ गते जिल्ला स्वास्थ्य कार्यालय खोटाङमा गरिएको पनि इन्स्पेक्टर राईले बताए ।
