The representatives from various organizations have protested in Kathmandu on September 22 against the incident of bomb explosions and planting explosives in various schools in Kathmandu and Lalitpur District on September 20. The protestors from CJAP, NCAP, Educational Journalists Group, Child Home Network including many other organizations have staged a sit-in-protest demanding the action against the guilt. The protesters have also demanded to follow the convention on child rights. The sit-in-protest was organized at Babarmahal in Kathmandu condemning the incidents demanding the government to ensure children’s right to education. The protesters had carried play cards with various slogans during the protest. INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel, former member of NHRC, Kapil Shrestha, including various human rights activists, students, journos were present in the protest. विभिन्न सङ्घसंस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरूले काठमाडौँ र ललितपुर जिल्लाका आधा दर्जन भन्दा बढी विद्यालयमा असोज ४ गते गराइएको बम विष्फोटन र विष्फोटक पदार्थ राखिएको घटनाविरूद्ध असोज ६ गते प्रदर्शन गरेका छन् । सिजप, एनसिएपी, एटवीन, एजुकेशनल जर्नालिष्ट ग्रुप, बालगृह सञ्जाल नेपाललगायतका बालअधिकार सम्बद्ध नागरिक समाजका सञ्जालहरूको सझा पहलमा असोज ६ गते विद्यालय बमकाण्डविरूद्ध धर्ना प्रदर्शनीमा उपस्थित सहभागीहरूले विद्यालयलाई शान्ति क्षेत्र घोषणाको पूर्ण पालन गर्न र बमकाण्डका दोषीलाई कारबाही गर्न माग गरेका छन् । माइतीघर मण्डलामा आयोजित धर्नामा सहभागीहरूले घटनाको निन्दा गर्दै बालबालिकाहरूको बाँच्न र पढ्न पाउने अधिकारको सुनिश्चितता गर्न सरकारसँग माग गरेका छन् । उनीहरूले ‘हाम्रा छोरीछोरीहरू सुरक्षित देख्न चाहान्छौँ, विद्यालय शान्ति क्षेत्र हो, यसको सम्मान गर, बमकाण्डका दोषीलाई कडा कारबाही गर, विद्यालयमा हिंसात्मक गतिविधि गर्नु अपराध हो’ लगायतका नारा लेखिएका प्ले कार्ड बोकेका थिए । प्रदर्शनमा इन्सेकका अध्यक्ष सुबोधराज प्याकुरेल, राष्ट्रिय मानवअधिकार आयोगका पूर्व सदस्य प्रा. कपिल श्रेष्ठ लगायतका अधिकारकर्मी, शिक्षक, विद्यार्थी, अविभावक, पत्रकार लगायतको सहभागिता रहेको थियो ।
