On Friday, locals in Bardiya shut Bhurigaun demanding incorporation of Babai, Suryapatuwa, Shivapur and Thakurdwara VDCs to form Thakurbaba Municipality. Expressing dissatisfaction at the demarcation of proposed municipalities, village councils and their centres, the locals had taken to the streets.
