Central restructuring allocation commission has submitted report to government including two municipality and eight VDCs. Previously, local all party mechanism had referred Nunaathala as Mahuregadhi 's village unit. However, in the present report Nunthala and some other VDCs has been replaced with Diktel municipality and their reapective village unit has been changed with Lamidada village unit. Locals have been protesting this alteration after the commission's report was submitted. As a from of protest, locals have been blocking the road since four days because of which hundreds of people are being affected. केन्द्रीय सिमा निर्धारण आयोगले जिल्लामा २ नगरपालिका सहित ८ गाउँपालिका सहितको खाका तयार गरि सरकारलाई बुझाएको छ । यसअघि स्थानीय सर्वदलीय संयन्त्रले महुरेगढ़ी गाउँपालिकाको केन्द्र नुनाथालाको महुरेलाई बनाउन सिफारिस गरेको थियो । उक्त गाउँपालिकालाइ हटाएर नुनथला सहित केहि गाविसलाई दिक्तेल नगरपालिका र उक्त गाउँपालिकालाई परिवर्तन गरी लामिडाँडाँ गाउँपालिका बनाएको विषयमा जिल्लामा विरोध भईरहेको छ । विरोध स्वरुप खोटाङमा चार दिनदेखी सडक बन्द गरिएको छ । बन्दका कारण हजारौँ यात्रु मारमा परेका छन् ।
