Hundreds of locals staged sit-in at Area Police Office of Sedhawa demanding action against a police constables who assaulted pilgrims on Saturday. Police constables Hari Bahadur Nepali and Dan Bahadur Rana had badly behaved with the pilgrims who came to worship at Jira Bhawani Mandir on the occassion of Shivaratri on Friday. The police constables also beat some of the pilgrims. An agreement has been reached between the locals and Deputy Superintendent of Parsa District Police Office that actions will be taken against the two police constables and Shyam Sundar Chaudhary will be released from the police custody. पर्साको महादेवपट्टि गाविसमा रहेको जिरा भवानी मन्दिरमा हिजो भएको प्रहरी ज्यादतीको विरोधमा आज स्थानीयले गरेको विरोधपछि दोषी प्रहरीमाथि कार्यवाही हुने भएको छ। शनिवार जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय पर्सामा प्रहरी ज्यादती विरोधमा आन्दोलित पक्ष र प्रहरी नायव उपरीक्षक बीच भएको वार्तामा प्रहरी जवान हिराबहादुर नेपाली र दान बहादुर राणालाई कार्यवाही गर्ने तथा पक्राउ परेका श्याम सुन्दर चौधरीलाई निसर्त रिहा गर्ने सहमति भएको हो। मेलामा शान्तिसुरक्षाका लागि खटिएका प्रहरीहरुले दर्शनार्थीहरुमाथि अभद्र व्यवहार तथा उपशब्द प्रयोग गरि कुटपिट गरेको भन्दै आक्रोशीत सैयों स्थानीयले आज ईलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय सेढवा घेराउ गारी नारावाजी गरेका थिए। हिजो महाशिवरात्रीका दिन इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय पटेर्वा सुगौलीकाबाट खटिएका प्रहरी जवान हरिबहादुर नेपाली र दान बहादुर राणाले मन्दिरको मूल गेटमा बसी आगन्तुक भक्तजनहरुमाथि गालीगलौज तथा उपशब्द प्रयोग गर्दै धम्क्याउने गरेको स्थानीयले आरोप लागेका छन्।
