UDMF cadres have padlocked the office of newly formed Gaidahawa rural municipality in Nawalparasi as a part of the Front's campaign of padlocking the offices of newly formed local level structures. Dozens of UDMF cadres led by incharge of constituency number 5 of the district Anil Ahmad and woman leader Nurjahan Khatun locked the office of the rural municipality after forcing out the employees. Central committee member of Sadbhawana Party Manmohan Chaudhary informed that the padlocking was done as a part of UDMF's preplanned activity in protest against the government's decision to go ahead with local level election without resolving the issues pending in the parliament. राज्यले गाँउपालिका घोषणा गरे लगत्तै संयुक्त लोकतान्त्रिक मधेशी मोर्चा रुपन्देहीले गैडहवा गाँउपालिकामा तालाबन्दी गरेको छ । मोर्चाका जिल्ला क्षेत्र नं. ५ का ईन्चार्ज अनिलअहमद र मोर्चा महिलानेत्री नूरजहाँ खातुनको नेतृत्व दर्जनौ कार्यकर्ताहरुको टोलीले रुपन्देहीको गैडहवा गाँउपालिकामा पुगेर कर्मचारीहरुलाई बाहिर निकाली तालाबन्दी गरेको हो । पूर्ब घोषित कार्यक्रम बमोजिम मोर्चा गाँउपालिकाहरुमा तालाबन्दी अभियान अन्र्तगत गैडहवा गाँउपालिकामा तालाबन्दी गरिएको सदभावना पार्टी केन्द्रिय सदस्य मनमोहन चौधरीले जानकारी गराएका छन । उनले राज्यले मोर्चाको माँग पूरा नगरे सम्म गाँउपालिकाको कामकाज ठप्प पार्ने चेतावनी समेत दिएका छन ।
