Rastriya Janta Party (RJP) Nepal has obstructed various road sections of the district for two hours as a protest against the election. The cadres of the party have obstructed the road section in Rajbiraj, Rupani, Mahuli, Bhardaha, Hanuman Nagar, Kalyanpur, Kadamaha and Kakatta by chanting slogan against the election. The party has been demanding the amendment of constitution prior to the election. They have been warning to obstruct the second phase of election if conducted without amending the constitution. According to INSEC district representative Indira Bhattarai of Morang, the RJP has organized transportation strike in Biratnagar demanding the amendment of constitution prior to the election. The party has organized strike in Kathari, Dadarberiya, Rangeli and Ambari. The party has obstructed the road for two hours. Mohamed Kadir of the party said that the strike was as per the schedule of agitation. The party has been constantly raising voice to address their demand prior to the election. स्थानीय तहको दोस्रो चरणको निर्वाचनविरुद्ध राष्ट्रिय जनता पार्टी नेपालले जेठ २५ गते पूर्व-पश्चिम राजमार्गसहित सप्तरीको विभिन्न सडक खण्ड दुई घण्टा अवरुद्ध गरेको छ । संविधान संशोधन बिना गर्न लागिएको स्थानीय तहको दोस्रो चरणको निर्वाचन हुन नदिने भन्दै राजपाका कार्यकर्ताहरूले दिउँसो एकदेखि तीन बजेसम्म राजविराज, रुपनी, महुली, भारदह, हनुमाननगर, कल्याणपुर, कदमाहा, कनकट्टालगायतका ठाउँहरूमा नाराबाजीसहित चक्काजाम गर्दै मुख्य तथा सहायक सडक खण्ड अवरुद्ध गरेका हुन् । चक्काजाम पछि आयोजित विरोधसभामा वक्ताहरूले राजपा नेपाललाई बाहिर राखेर गरिएको चुनावको कुनै अर्थ नरहने र संविधान संशोधनलगायतका माग सम्बोधन नभए चुनाव हुन पनि नदिने चेतावनी दिए । इन्सेक मोरङ् जिल्ला प्रतिनिधि इन्दिरा भट्टराईका अनुसार संविधान संशोधन नगरी कुनै पनि निर्वाचनमा नजाने भन्दै आन्दोलन गर्दै आएको राष्ट्रिय जनता पार्टी (राजपा) मोरङले जेठ २५ गते विराटनगरमा चक्काजाम गरेको छ । राजपा मोरङले विराटनगरका साथै कटहरी, दादरबेरीया, रङ्गेली र आमबारीमा पनि चक्का जाम गरेको जनाएको छ । राजपाले दिउँसो १ बजेदेखि २ बजेसम्म चक्का जाम गरेको हो । पार्टीले घोषणा गरेको आन्दोलनको केन्द्रीय कार्यक्रम अनुसार चक्काजाम गरिएको राजपाका मोरङ संयोजक मोहम्मद कादिरले बताए । चक्काजामपछि आयोजना गरिएको बिरोध सभामा बोल्दै पार्टीका केन्द्रीय नेताहरू दिलिप धाडेवा, तरबेज हकसहित जिल्ला नेताहरूले आफूहरूले उठाएका माग र मुद्दाहरू सम्बोधन नगरेसम्म निर्वाचनमा सहभागी नहुने र निर्वाचन गराउन खोजे प्रतिकार गर्ने चेतावनी दिएका थिए ।
