Morang/May 29 Suresh Kumar Majhi, 34, of Tanki Sinuwari VDC-8 and a teacher at Saraswati Higher Secondary School in Siswani Badahara has been held for beating up his mother Bhagwati Devi Majhi, 60 on May 28. Bhagwati’s husband Satya Narayan filed an FIR against the accused, the couple’s second son, at District Police Office (DPO) the victim was treated at Koshi Zonal Hospital. Satya Narayan in his report said that the incident occurred because of dispute over family property. Chief of DPO’s Women and Children Service Centre, Suma Karki said that the FIR had been forwarded to Nemuwa Area Police Office for further action. Nemuwa APO in-charge Poonam Chaudhary said that they would call the both sides to the station for discussion on May 30.
