Part-time teachers of constituent campuses under the Tribhuvan University have staged a relay hunger strike from today, demanding their appointment on contract. Member of Nepal Part-Time Teachers' Association, Ghamraj Luintel, said that they staged the relay hunger strike demanding appointment of part-time teachers, who taught at least for one academic session, on contract. The part-time teachers have staged the relay hunger strike in front of office of vice-chancellor from 8 am. Announcing advertisement for the post of lecturer in a regular manner by the TU Service Commission and educational reforms are their other demands. He said that they would launch stern agitation if their demands are not addressed. There are some 1,200 part-time teachers at constituent campuses across the country. RSS त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयका आंगिक प्राध्यापकले करारको माग गदै मंगलबारदेखि रिले अनशन शुरु गरेका छन् । कम्तीमा एक शैक्षिक सत्र पढाएका आंगिक प्राध्यापकलाई करारमा नियुक्ति दिनुपर्ने माग गदै रिले अनशन शुरु गरिएको आंगिक प्राध्यापक संघका सदस्य घमराज लुइँटेलले बताए । आंगिक प्राध्यापकले उपकुलपतिको कार्यालय अगाडि मंगलबार बिहान ८ बजेदेखि अनशन शुरु गरेका हुन् । लुइँटेलका अनुसार साउन २२ गतेसम्म अनशन सञ्चालन हुनेछ । उनीहरुले नियमित रुपमा त्रिवि सेवा आयोगबाट उप–प्राध्यापकको विज्ञापन खुलाउनुपर्ने र शिक्षाको गुणस्तर सुधार गर्नुपर्ने समेत माग राखेका छन् । अनशनबाट हाम्रा माग सम्बोधन नभए कडा आन्दोलन गर्ने उननले जानकारी दिए । विसं २०६१ देखि त्रिविको केन्द्रीय क्याम्पस कीर्तिपुरसहित देशभरिका त्रिविका आंगिक क्याम्पसमा करिब एक हजार २०० आंगिक प्राध्यापक छन् । आंगिक प्राध्यापकले प्रति शिक्षणबापत रु ३६० पाउने गर्दछन् ।
