A teacher of Nepal National Secondary School in Maintada of Bheriganga municipality-8 has reportedly attempted to rape his own student on Friday night. The teacher identified as Resham Gharti, went to the room of a 13-year-old student while she was sleeping around 10:00 pm on Friday night and tried to rape her, informed the girl's family. Although the victim's family were seeking to press charge against the alleged perpetrator police reportedly handed him over to chairman of the ward Padam Bahadur Khatri after arresting him and threatened the victim's family not to lodge complaint against the perpetrator. The victim's father accused the police of letting the perpetrator off the hook. भेरीगंगा नगरपालिका वडा नं ८ मैनतडाका एक शिक्षकले छात्रामाथी जबरजस्ती करणीको प्रयास गरेको जनाइएको छ। नेपाल राष्ट्रिय माध्यामिक बिद्यालय मैनतडाका शिक्षक रेशम घर्तीले १३ बर्षिया छात्रामाथी करणीको प्रयास गरेका हुन्। शुक्रबार राती १०:०० बजे छात्रा कोठामा सुतिरहेको अवस्थामा कोठामै पुगेर छात्रामाथी जबर्जस्ती करणीको प्रयास गरेको उनको आफन्तले जनाएको छ। प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेका पिडक घर्तीलाई भेरिगंगा नगरपालिका वडा नं ८ का वडाअध्यक्ष पदम बहादुर खत्रीको जिम्मा छोडिएको छ। पिडित परिवारलाई डरत्रास देखाएर मुद्दा अगाडी बढाउने भन्दा भन्दै एकलौटी रूपमा मिलापत्र भएको भन्दै घटनाका दोषी घर्तीलाइ प्रहरीले छोडेको छात्राको बुवाले जानकारी दिए।
