Nepal Police personnel here on Wednesday arrested a man for possessing a pistol and a round of bullet at Rajbiraj Municipality-13 in Saptari district. The arrested has been identified as local resident Laxman Yadav (54). Yadav was nabbed with a pistol and a round of bullet from his residence yesterday, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Mukesh Kumar Singh at the District Police Office, Saptari. Acting on a tip-off that Yadav allegedly used to threaten the locals with weapons, police apprehended him as they searched his house and found the small gun underneath his bed. Police said further investigation into the case was underway.
