Construction entrepreneurs and relatives of Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN), Sharad Kumar Gauchan, have obstructed the Maitighar-Tinkune road in protest against the murder of Gauchan. They have been chanting slogans demanding the arrest of Gauchan’s killers and action against the guilty. Gauchan was shot dead by unknown assailants at Om Shanti chok in Shantinagar, Kathmandu on Monday afternoon. Immediately after he was shot, Gauchan was rushed to Minbhawan-based Civil Hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival. According to attending doctors, he had sustained three bullets in his abdomen. निर्माण व्यवसायी महासंघका अध्यक्ष शरदकुमार गौचनको गोली हानी हत्या भएको विरोधमा निर्माण व्यवसायी र उनका आफन्तहरुले माइतीघर–तीनकुने सडकखण्ड अवरोध गरेका छन् । उनीहरुले हत्यारा पक्राउ गरी कारबाही गर्नुपर्ने माग राख्दै नाराबाजी गरिरहेका छन् । गौचनको आज दिउँसो काठमाडौंको शान्तिनगरस्थित ओमशान्ति चोकमा गोली हानी हत्या भएको थियो । गोली प्रहारलगत्तै उनलाई उपचारको लागि बानेश्वरस्थित सिभिल अस्पताल लगिएको थियो । अस्पताल पुगेलगत्तै चिकित्सकले उनलाई मृत घोषित गरेका थिए । चिकित्सकका अनुसार उनको शरीरमा तीन गोली लागेको थियो ।
