Students on Sunday staged a demonstration on the premises of Institute of Medicine demanding that the medical entrance examination be re-conducted. Students burnt the effigy of Dean Dr Jagadish Prasad Agrawal demanding his resignation. “The students were compelled to stage protest as no decision has been made regarding the entrance examination held earlier,” said Dr Toshima Karki, general secretary, Doctors Society of Nepal. The IoM had suspended the results of entrance examination held earlier.
