A follower of CK Raut accused of spearheading a secessionist movement in Madhes has been arrested on Saturday evening from the district for encouraging local people to invalidate their vote in the upcoming December 7 elections. A police team held Gyanendra Khadga of Hanumannagar Kankalani Municipality-1 in Saptari while distributing pamphlets encouraging the people to invalidate their vote in the premises of Shiva Temple in Rajbiraj-7 when a political programme organised by the Madhes alliance was going on, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dhurba Kumar Shrestha. Meanwhile, a total of 207 polling stations in the district have been marked as high sensitive for the polls. In view of this situation, a high security arrangement has been made, said the district administration office. स्थानीय मतदातालाई बदर मतदान गर्न प्रचार प्रसार गरिरहेको अवस्थामा सिके राउतका एक कार्यकर्तालाई शनिबार साँझ प्रहरीले राजविराजबाट पक्राउ गरेको छ । पक्राउ पर्नेमा सप्तरीको हनुमाननगर कंकालनी नगरपालिका–१ बस्ने ज्ञानेन्द्र खड्गा रहेको प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक धुव्रकुमार श्रेष्ठले बताए । राजविराज–७ स्थित शिवमन्दिर परिसरमा मधेश गठबन्धनले आयोजना गरेको चुनावी सभामा उपस्थित जनसमुदायलाई (कोठली बाहर मतदान करु) मतपत्रको कोठा बाहिर मतदान गर भन्ने सिके राउतको पर्जाको वितरण गर्ने क्रममा उनलाई पक्राउ गरिएको प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक श्रेष्ठले जानकारी दिए ।
