15-year-old Dinesh Tamang of Helambu-5 died as a homemade gun carried by his friend went off during a hunting trip on Dec 14. Dinesh along with two of his friends namely Pasang Tamang,25 and Sunil Tamang 18 was on their way to Chaurikhor Community Forest when the gun carried by Sunil accidentally went off and Dinesh was shot on his stomach. Dinesh succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital. Police have arrested Sunil while Pasang is on the run.
