Five boys rescued from Butwan who were on the way to be trafficked

Police rescued five boys from Belbas of Butwal on the night of December 25 on suspicion of being trafficked. All boys are aged from 9 to 14. Police said that they were suspected of being trafficked pretexting them of grooming and good education. On suspicion of their involvement in human trafficking, police arrested 35 years old Shankar Pyasi of Devdaha Municipality-6, Rupendehi, 36 years old Bandana Pyasi, and 24 years old Geeta Budha of Khatyang Rural Municipality-1, Mugu. The victims are from Mugu district and they absconded from the Sahara house of Geeta Budha in Mugu after finding that they were being trafficked. All of them were rescued while they were roaming in the street in Belbas after fleeing from Sahara house according to DSP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai. The rescued boys are kept at an orphanage in Rupndehi according to DSP Bhattarai and coordination between their family is going on.
