Lalitpur/July 22 Noor Prasad Adhikari, the son of Nanda Prasad Adhikari, 56, and Ganga Maya Adhikari, 55, of Phujel VDC in Gorkha has informed INSEC that his parents were taken away from Mental Hospital in Lagankhel in the evening of July 22. The Adhikari couple has been in peaceful protest since February 4 demanding action against the killers of their younger son Krishna, who was killed by the Maoists on charge of being an informer. Noor Prasad said that his parents were taken to Kathmandu Administration Office from the hospital and dumped there. He added that he was on sit-in to protest condemning the treatment of his parents. On June 3, the couple were lifted from their protest, in front of Bir Hospital in Kathmandu, by the police and forcefully admitted to Government Mental Hospital in Lagankhel, Lalitpur. Though the government justified the act saying both husband and wife could have been suffering from some psychological problem, the hospital had ruled out the possibility and was trying to discharge them but the Adhikari refused to be discharged saying they will stay there until they get justice. There has been no official statement on the reason from moving the couple from the hospital. Attempts to contact government officials and hospital administration was not successful. Ramesh Timalsina समाचार अधिकारी दम्पतिलाई अस्पतालबाट अन्यत्रै लगिएको परिवारको भनाइ ललितपुर । ०७० साउन ७ गते विगत लामो समयदेखि न्यायको लर्डाईँमा लागिरहेको गोर्खा फुजेल-७ का ५६ वर्षीय नन्दप्रसाद अधिकारी र उनकी पत्नी ५५ वर्षीया गङ्गामाया अधिकारीलाई साउन ७ गते अपरान्ह लगनखेलस्थित मानसिक अस्पतालबाट अन्यत्रै लगिएको उनीहरुका छोरा नुरप्रसाद अधिकारीले इन्सेक प्रतिनिधिलाई जानकारी गराएका छन् । उनीहरुलाई अपरान्ह जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय काठमाडौँ पुर्‍याइएको र त्यहाँबाट त्यसै अलपत्र पारिएको नुरप्रसादले बताए । घटनाको विरोधमा आफू बालुवाटारस्थित प्रधानमन्त्री निवास पुगेर धर्नामा बसेको अधिकारीले बताए । २०६१ सालमा माओवादीले आफ्नो छोराको हत्या गरेको र घटनामा संलग्नलाई कारबाहीको माग गर्दै उनीहरु ०६९ माघ २२ गतेबाट अनसनमा बस्दै आएका छन् । पछिल्लोपटक उनीहरुलाई अनसनस्थलबाटै प्रहरीले जबबरजस्ती मानसिक अस्पताल लगनखेल पुर्‍याएको थियो । मानसिक सन्तुलनमा समस्या उत्पन्न हुनसक्ने आशंकामा त्यहाँ पुर्‍याइएका उनीहरुको मानसिक स्वास्थ्यमा केही असर नभएको भन्दै अस्पताल प्रशासनले उनीहरुलाई अस्पतालबाट निकाल्न पटकपटक प्रयत्न गरेको थियो । तर, उनीहरुले न्याय नपाई आफूहरु डेक नचल्ने भन्दै अडान लिएर बसेका थिए । गत जेठ ३० गते वीर अस्पतालको गेटबाट जबरजस्ती उठाएर मानसिक अस्पताल पुर्‍याइएका अधिकारी दम्पतिलाई किन अस्पतालबाट अन्यत्रै सारियो भन्ने विषयमा सरकारी अधिकारीहरुको प्रतिक्रिया आएको छैन । उनका छोराले अस्पतालबाट अन्यत्रै लगेको जानकारी दिए लगत्तै सरकारी अधिकारी तथा अस्पताल प्रशासनसँग प्रतिक्रिया लिन खोज्दा सर्म्पर्क हुन सकेन । रमेशप्रसाद तिमल्सिना
