YCL Calls Shut Down in Chitwan, Ambulance Vandalized

Chitwan, karyakarta rihaiko maang rakhdai jilla band, ambulance todfod. Chitwan/August 1 The call for indefinite bandh made by YCL Chitwan in the district has disrupted life on August 1. The group was demanding release of cadres who was arrested on charge for collecting forced donation. The YCL cadres vandalized an ambulance (Na 2 Cha 4488), owned by Piple Red Cross sub-branch for defying the call for bandh. It was coming to Bharatpur from Eastern Chitwan with a patient. Ambulance driver Krishna Bahadur Chalise informed that the ambulance has rescuing a pregnant lady Bhawani Lama, 26, of Hetaunda and other three patients who were left stranded as the public vehicle they were travelling on stuck on the way due to the bandh. In another incident, the YCL cadres vandalized the office of Nepal Telecom at Tandi for remaining open. Ratnanagar Area Police Office has arrested 15 and impounded four motorcycles on charge of being involved in the attack. SP Pradhyumna Karki said case has been filed against the six cadres arrested on July 30.
