Federation of Indigenous Nationalities and Adarsha Gurung Samaj, Gaidakot jointly padlocked forestry office at Gaidakot, Nawalparasi on Jul 15 on allegations of destroying their sacred site with a dozer. The protestors stated that Jayashree Community Forest Users Group destroyed Ahinsawadi Chandi Deurali Maula Mandir without prior notice. The place happened to be their sacred site where they had been performing rituals and worshipping for a long time.
