Police arrested 25-year-old Gyanendra Rai on September 10 on charges of attempted rape. According to reports, Rai who was a permanent resident of Rupakot-Majhuwagadhi-3,Khotang and was residing at Labipur,Duhabi-3 attempted to rape a 17-year-old girl on Sept 9. The girl was staying at a relatives house at Duhabi-3 when Rai sneaked inside her room in the dark of the midnight and attempted to rape her while she was asleep. Rai was taken into custody for investigation. सुनसरी जिल्लाको दुहबी नगरपालिका-३ लाविपुरस्थित नमुना टोलमा एक किशोरीलाई जबरजस्ती करणीको आरोपमा एक जनालाई पक्राउ गरिएको छ । करणी प्रयासको आरोपमा खोटाङ रूपाकोट-मझुवागढी नगरपालिका-८ घर भई हाल सुनसरी लविपुर नमुनाटोल बस्दै आइरहेका २५ वर्षीय ज्ञानेन्द्र राई सोमबार राति पक्राउ परेका हुन्।राईलाई आइतबार राति १२ बजे लाविपुरस्थित नमूना टोलकी १७ वर्षिया १ किशोरीलाई आफन्तको घरमा सुतिरहेको अवस्थामा करणी प्रयास गरेको आरोप लागेको छ ।स्थानीयले दिएको जानकारी अनुसार इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय दुहबीबाट खटिएको प्रहरी टोलीले राइलाई पक्राउ गरी थप अनुसन्धान भइरहेको उक्त कार्यालयले जनाएको छ ।
