A rape case was reconciliation in 11 thousand rupees at Mithila Municipality-2, Dhanusha district in the presence of political parties.

The rape case was dismissed by threatening the victim family.  It is learnt that a local youth named Gyan Mahara who is known as an Ashok took a 15-year-old girl from the same place to his home luring her of giving a mobile phone and raped her two days ago and later drop the girl to her home. 

The perpetrator family then threatened the victim family after they learned that the victim family are taking the case to the police.

Since there is no male presence in the victim family there was no any other option they could see other than accepting their offer or they might have to more danger situation said one local youth.

On the other hand, the police are not aware of the incident.
