The locals of Birgunj has staged a protest demanding the arrest of the culprit of Madhuri Warnawal on Thursday. Locals have accused the police of Birgunj for ignoring the case.

Madhuri was found dead in her room on the 1st of January. Her family has said it is suicide but her maternity home has claimed that her in-laws have been pressurizing her for the dowry since the very beginning of her marriage that she commit the suicide.

Her maternity family has lodge the complained against the in-laws in the area police officer. They said that the police refused to take the complaint a first, later when they pressurized the police they write the complain but now they are ignoring the case. Deceased mother said that a day before her dead body found she talked to the Madhuri over the phone. Madhuri said that she was locked inside the room by her in-laws and they have not given her anything to eat nor drink. While police have said that they are investigating the case.
