Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demonstrated in Biratnagar demanding the Hindu nation.
On the occasion of Republic Day, the rally was started from Sansarimai of Biratnagar where the participants revolved around the market by chanting slogans like establishing a Hindu nation, taking action against the corrupt and ending impunity.
Kamal Thapa says' RPP will be an alternative party. RPP had handed a letter of memorandum to Government through Deputy Secretary of Province 1's Chief Minister Office including 22 points demands.
Chief of the Tarai Madhes Organization, Dinesh Shah, informed that the memorandum had submitted to the federal government through the Deputy Secretary of the Chief Minister's office because the Chief Minister was out of the office.
The demands of making Nepal a Hindu nation, control of corruption, employment for the unemployed, farmers' interest and so on were included in the 22-point memorandum.
RPP is prepared for Mechi Mahakali National Pride Trip from 27th February starting from Taplejung and ending at Kathmandu. A public meeting has been scheduled on 29th February at Mahendra Chowk.
