An artist who was preparing for Karnali fair in Surkhet was attacked by Khukuri by an unidentified group. Artist Janak Tarami Magar was attacked by an unidentified group in OA cottage on Wednesday 7 pm.
Police said that Magar sustains injuries in his head and fingers. Seriously injured artist Magar was taken to Provincial hospital, Kalagaun, Surkhet and then referred to Lakhnow for further treatment.
