Chhetra Prasad Dhakal has appealed to the government for justice, saying that he was beaten by his neighbor, Deputy Secretary of the government of Nepal, Rudra Prasad Lamichhane.
At a press conference on Tuesday, Dhakal complained that Rudra Prasad Lamichhane was causing him trouble repeatedly exploiting his rank and power. Dhakal also alleged that Lamichhane, had planned to kill him. He said, "Today I have come to the journalists to demand the right to live."
Dhakal shared that Lamichhane forced his widowed daughter-in-law and grandson to remove the motorcycle they were cleaning in front of their house in the evening of January 15. Lamichhane also attacked him during the dispute.
According to him, after being severely beaten by Rudra Prasad, his driver took him to the teaching hospital for treatment on the government vehicle. He informed that his family saved him by taking him to Grande Hospital, Dhapasi, after he did not receive good treatment at the teaching hospital.
