Former employees of Janakpur based Janaki Medical College padlocked the counter office of the college demanding due salaries. Around half-dozen former doctors of the College padlocked the branch hospital of the college situated at Bhramhapuri for 2 hours on Sunday. Doctor Karmendra Yadav, a former employee, said that they were forced to padlock the hospital counter as the college administration did not heed towards paying the former employees even though almost a year had passed since they left. Other former employees including Dr. Sambhu Sah, Dr. Gautam Jha, Dr. Ashok Adhikari, and Dr. Saroj Yadav claimed that the hospital owes more than 50 former employees hundreds of thousands of rupees in salary.
