35-year-old Jokhan Sahani of Jitpur Simara-10 has poisoned his mother to death. Sahani allegedly poised his mother to death and threw her body in a sugarcane field under the pretext of taking her to hospital for treatment.
According to Ward 10 Chairperson of Jitpur Simara Saroj Patel, Jokhan left home with his mother heading Bharatpur for her treatment after selling a land in 2 lakhs 20 thousand. However, he had planned by his in-laws suggestions to instead murder his mother. He left her body in a sugarcane field thinking she had died. However, local farmers found the elderly woman still alive and reported to the police.
Police arrested Jokhan on Novermber 9 following the report said sub-inspector Ramudaya Sharma.
