Baneshwor Metropolitan Police arrested 26 persons for alleged involvement in disorderly activities during the Holi festival on Wednesday. The wrongdoings of the arrested range from forcibly coloring people to using sharp weapons against people.
According to DSP Govinda Raj Kafle, Saugat KC and Chhatra Bhandari were arrested from a cafe in Baneshwor for fighting. Both have sustained some injuries. The witnesses informed that they attacked each other with khukuri.
Police also arrested Saila Rawal and Kapilesh Bista for pelting stones.
