Police arrests youth on the charge of sharp weapon attack step-mother

Police on Thursday evening arrested 19-year-old Rabin Basnet of Ratuwamai municipality-8 Subedi chowk on the charge of sharp weapon attack on 23-year-old step-mother Pushpa Basnet. Basnet reportedly attacked his step-mother with a sickle and shovel during a dispute. Pushpa who sustained serious injury in the incident is undergoing treatment at Neuro hospital in Biratnagar. Police are further investigating on the incident.
