Man arrested on charge of attempted rape

On 25th February, 35-year-old Malakha Kurmi of Gaidahawa-3, Rupandehi attempted to rape 10-year-old girl when she was sleeping. When the girl screamed the neighbors came out for help. However, the accused managed to escape.
According to Area Police Office, Lumbini, police arrested him on Thursday and a case against him is filed at Rupandehi District Court.
Victim has appealed the stakeholders for strict punishment to the accused.
