Ex-teacher of Sidhesori Secondary School, 42-year-old Bhim Bahadur Bista, a resident of Tumarkhand rural municipality-8, Dhamali was attacked with khukuri at his home at night on  May 18  by 40-year-old Bhim Bahadur Bista and 24-year-old Kamal Bista, both cadres of Nepal Communist Party over a dispute about drinking water project. A group of 8-10 men including the two tried to kill him at his house, accused the victim.

Both accused were taken into custody on an attempt to murder charge after a case was filed from the victim's side. According to police chief Janak Bahadur Shahi, District Police  Office, Achham, the arrested men are being brought to DPO.

Bista, who is getting treatment at District Hospital is referred to Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur for further treatment.
