Police have arrested a 16-year-old teenager and 19-year-old Bishal Khadka of Bhimsen Thapa rural municipality-3 Nuwakot on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl on May 13. A team from Metropolitan Police Circle Maharajgunj arrested them from Suryodaya Guesthouse in Gongabu of Tokha municipality-9 on May 21.

The victim's relatives had filed the complaint against the accused on May 13 at Metropolitan police, Durbarmarg accusing them of raping the girl.  

One of the arrested boys ran away while he was being taken to Bir hospital for medical examination. Police arrested him again from Tarkeshwor municipality-10 on May 22.

The health treatment of the victim was conducted on 21 May at Maternity Hospital, Thapathali.
