People associated with National Land Rights Forum-Nepal staged a sit-in in front of land revenue office, Kawasoti of Nawalpur District.  Earlier they had marched a protest rally from Falful chowk to Land revenue office Kawasoti against the increase in corruption at Land revenue office and survey office, Kawasoti of Nawalpur district.

The people associated with NLRF, Nawalpur have accused the employees of land revenue office and survey office, Kawasoti are engaged in encroaching public land and transforming squatter's  land into others name.  Addressing the sit-in program Nepal Manju Shrestha, a  central member of National Land Rights Forum - Nepal said they are compelled to organize rally and sit-in program and the corruption has been increased in land revenue and survey offices  with the involvement of land mafia and government employees on illegal dealing of the public lands. On wednesday, National Land Rights Forum  have organized  sit-in programs in all land revenue offices countrywide.
