27-year-old Parvati Pariyar lodged a complaint against her sister-in-law 36-year-old Shanti Pariyar, and her daughters 19-year-old Gita Pariyar and 14-year-old Sangita Pariyar on the charge of beating in an allegation of being a witch, at District Police Office Dhading on 6th June.
By alleging of being witch, the victim was tortured and beaten and the complaint was lodged against accused parties on 5th June at Area Police Office, Gajuri.
According to Rajkumar Baidawar, SP of District Police Office, the victim lodged the complaint at the District Police Office on 6th June seeking for the justice after the Area Police, on the basis of the complaint forcefully tried negotiating between both sides.
The injured woman was treated at Gajuri Primary Health Center on 5th June, police said.
