Sudurpashchim, Bajura, Budhinanda
Locals of Budhinanda Municipality in Bajura district padlocked the municipality office on June 5 over a dumping site dispute. The locals of Ward 5 and 7 protested the municipality’s decision to use the Chatabagar area as a dumping site. The protesting locals submitted a memorandum to the municipality demanding to scrap its decision and find another dumping site. They argued that the locals would be greatly affected if Chatabagar was used as a dumping ground.
