Cadres of Nepali Congress affiliated NSU (Nepal Students Union) burnt the effigy of Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli at Patan Chauraha, Baitadi.
According to Kapil K.C, President of NSU Baitadi, effigy of PM was burnt as a protest against the National Medical Education Bill being passed on the support of the majority and the failure to arrested the suspect of Nirmala Pant's case.
He also added, " 2/3 majority government is not working for citizens; will, price inflation and corruption is increasing. So that to warn the government we burnt the effigy ."
They are demanding for DNA test of Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa's son.
NSA's Dashrath Chand Municipality's President Amar Bahadur Ter said," We will continuously warn the government when it acts against citizens."
