Rautahat/October 19, At least seven cadres of CPN-UML of Gamhariya Birta VDC-7 have been injured after cadres of NC thrashed them on October 19. The injured UML cadres are Siyaram Ray Yadab, 50, Kusun Mahato, 70, Ramkishor Mahato, 33, Birendra Yadab, 35, Raman Mahato, 55, Salamudhin Darji, 21, Bhadai Paswan, 55, of Gamhariya Birta VDC-7. Among the injured, Siyaram received four stitches and Kisun two stitches in head while the rest sustained injuries in head and back. NC cadre Mukti Prasad Yadab, 25, has also been injured after UML cadres retaliated. About 30 cadres of NC led by NC regional president of area no. 6 Ramagya Ray Yadab attacked the cadres of CPN-UML who were busy in door to door election campaign in the Gamhariya VDC, injured Siyaram said. The injured are undergoing treatment at Janata Hospital in Chandranigahapur. Inspection Krishna Sundar Bista of the Area Polcie Office Garuda said that team of APF and Nepal Polcie reached the site and took the situation in control. Bista added that NC regional president Ramagya Ray Yadab, NC cadre Bibek Ray Yadab, UML cadres Umesh Ray Yadab, Chandrika Ray Yadab and Bhuil Ray Yadab were arrested in connection with the incident.
