In Bariyarpatti-1, Siraha, Gurudev Yadav's family was beaten by a group of six people on the day of Holi festival. Yadav's son Rakesh Kumar Yadav, Suresh Kumar Yadav, mother Jiwan Devi Yadav and sister Manju Yadav were beaten. Unconscious Rakesh's treatment is going on in the Golden Hospital of Biratnagar whereas others' treatment is going on at Divine Hospital in Lahan.
A case was filed against Raj Kumar Yadav alias Tuntun for his involvement in criminal activities and he was released on bail after 18 days. After the incident, Raj Kumar Yadav along with Krishna Yadav, Chandra Dev Yadav, Manoj Yadav, Saroj Yadav, and Sanjay Kumar Yadav attacked the family.
Gurudev Yadav accused the opponents of attacking his family as a revenge to that complaint.
According to Madavraj Kharel, Spokesperson of District Police Office Siraha, no complaint is filed on this matter.
