Sub-Inspector Ambika Prasad Barai of Federal Police Office Bhairahawa assaulted his younger brother Anirudra Prasad Barai including the brother's wife and son. The family resides in Sammarimai Rural Municipality-1 in Rupandehi.
According to Anirudra, SI Barai, his son Jay Prasad, wife Krishnawati and daughter-in-law, Nirmaladevi assaulted him, his wife, Manorama Devi, and son, Abhisekh on Sunday morning over a dispute about buffer strip in their agricultural land.
Anirudra and his wife filed a complaint at District Police Office Rupandehi and National Human Rights Commission Provincial Office Butwal on Sunday.
