Police arrested 36-year-old Nir Bahadur Nepali, a resident of Sundarharaicha Municipality-1, on Tuesday morning on the charge of attacking his 26-year-old sister-in-law Salina Nepali with a khukuri.

The team of police deployed from Area Police Office as soon as they received information about the incident Hariacha arrested the accused with the weapon.

Injured Salina was sent to Dharan Ghopa Hospital for treatment. Further investigation is underway.
