Member of Chand-led party arrested from Itahari

Police arrested Ramesh Khadka, District Member of Communist Party Nepal (Biplov) from Itahari-4 on Tuesday.
Khadka is a resident of Morang, Motipur but is currently living at Itahari-5. According to the police, Khadka known as 'Surya' was ex Maoist combatant and has been actively participating in party work at Morang and Dhankuta.
Police have arrested leaders and members of the party after the government banned CPN led by Netra Bikram Chand for their engagement in criminal activities. Police have also arrested Ghanshyam Shrestha Koshi Bureau In-charge and members, Puskar and Madhav Gautam from Kanepokhari-4, Morang on Sunday evening.
