Rautahat/November 2, An election candidate of the Shyam Sundar Gupta-led Nepal Sadbhawana Party-United has died in the night of November 1, according to District Police Office in Gaur. Sheikh Israjul, 59, of Pipra, Bhagwanpur VDC-7 was found dead in his bed on November 2 morning.. He was contesting the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections from Rautahat Constituency no. 2. Family of Israjul had found him dead when they went to wake him up after he did not wake up till late morning. He had gone to bed after dinner the last night. A police team from the district headquarters reached the scene after receiving information about the death. Israjul’s body has been brought to the District Hospital for autopsy, DSP Govinda Ram Pariyar said. He added that the cause behind his death would be confirmed only after investigation.
