Protesters stage hunger strike at Koshi dam demanding compensation

The protesters from Sunsari, Saptari, and Udayapur started a relay hunger strike on Saturday demanding compensation for the lands taken for the construction of the Koshi barrage. Sapta Koshi victims have a common demand that they should get the compensation that was decided while signing an agreement with the Indian government. The protesters shared that the relay hunger strike would continue until their demand is met.
