Family members of a 19-year-old girl lodged a complaint against 30-year-old Rakesh Yadav, of Mayadevi rural municipality-1 Amauli at District Police Office on September 4 on the charge of raping her.
In the complaint, the victim's family stated that Yadav raped the girl on June 25 and threatened her not to tell about the incident to anyone. According to DSP Dharmaraj Bhandari of District Police Butwal, police are looking for the accused who is on the run.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Bhim hospital in Bhairahawa on September 4.
