Students staged a protest in Birgunj stating that Public Service Commission's advertisement published by the Government of Nepal is anti-Madhesh.

They protested against the government by burning copies of the advertisement at the Clock Tower in Birgunj, saying that the advertisement of the Public Service Commission, which was brought to curtail the rights of the Madhesi, Dalit, Muslim, women and marginalized communities, is unacceptable.

They demanded the cancellation of the advertisement published by the government going against the constitution. 

Students who participated in the protest against the government said that the protest will would not immediately return the advertisement. 

The program, led by Sheikh Munna Ansari, was attended by the Visitvisiting Madhes's Coordinator Omprakash Sarraf, women leader Malati Kushwaha, Hiralal Sah, Rajeshwar Yadav.
