Maternal family members and relatives of Sinku Yadav, wife of Birendra Khadga of Gadhi rural municipality-6 Majhau padlocked Khadga's house for subjecting Yadav to domestic violence. Yadav accused Khadga of evicting her from home without providing even the basic necessities and refusing to register their marriage.
Yadav's relatives with the help of locals padlocked Khadga's house on Monday. Locals said they padlocked Khadga's house as he had been torturing his wife ever since their marriage. Locals also staged protest before the rural municipality office demanding justice for Yadav.
