While children throughout the country celebrated "Children's Day" on Sunday, children from Rajbiraj municipality in Saptari were compelled to stage a demonstration against the municipality as the municipality failed to allocate enough budget for the children. The children took out a demonstration rally saying that the municipality neither allocated any budget for "Children's Day" nor did it organize any program.

The children handed over a memorandum and rupees 5 as a symbolic protest to municipality Shambhu Prasad Yadav.
