Police arrested three people accused of slaughtering a cow at a field in Bathwa of Khajura rueal municipality-7.  According to Banke Police Chief SP Bir Bahadur Oli, locals Salman Khan, Rainshi Khan and Sharif Khan were arrested while one of the accused is still absconding. A team from the Dhanauli area police office went  to the area on getting information that they were slaughtering cows at the night of 25th September.

"When our team reached there, the cow was cut and the meat of the cow had already been taken to home ," said Purna Thapaliya, Inspector of police at Dhanauli area police. Police said a case of cow slaughter will be filed against them.
