A 24-year-old woman, on 11th October, has filed a complaint of gang rape, by four including her 26-year-old husband, at Chandranigahapur police office.
The woman and her husband had married three years ago as per the social tradition. The woman was living in the husband's house thereafter.
On 27th September, the woman had gone to her parental house. Her husband rushed her in a motorcycle from the parental home at 10 pm on 10th October, citing illness of his mother and sister-in-law. According to the victim, her husband took her to Pakhariya edge, a kilometer south of Dumariya city in Gaur-Chapur roadway, whereby the husband along with three other people raped her by taking turns.
She said that she could not identify other rapists as she was raped blindfolded. The victim underwent a medical examination at Chandranigahapur hospital on 11th September.
